For more than twenty years, I’ve been writing for Pitchfork, where I am bearing down on 600 reviews, and INDY Week, where I was arts/managing editor between 2013 and 2020 and won multiple national AAN awards. I have also contributed to Uncut, SPIN, the AV Club, the New York Times Magazine, Music Journalism Insider, Bandcamp Daily, Paste Magazine, Kill Screen, Edge Magazine, Hyperallergic, eMusic, and many others. I work as a line and copy editor for Elite Authors and independently, and I write marketing copy for major festivals and cultural organizations. I play in the multimedia band Streak of Tigers, which consists of music, poetry, video, and more.
